New website builds commissioned from September 10, 2026 include 90 days of this same care plan from launch, with hosting during that period. No card needed. Paid care starts only after you agree. If you choose yearly billing, your paid year begins after those 90 days. Existing projects keep their agreed terms.

- Content updates, photos, pricing, design refinements, ordinary new content pages and fixes to your existing website. Bring the list. We work through it together.
- Hosting, looked after
- Managed website hosting and SSL are included only while your care plan is active, including the first 90 days. A website build alone does not include ongoing hosting after care ends.
- Attention between requests
- Backups, uptime monitoring, routine security maintenance and checks of key website journeys. We bring issues and useful improvements to your attention.
- A person who knows your site
- Direct contact with the studio and clear progress updates. We aim to reply within one business day. Larger requests get an agreed delivery date.

The retainer looks after and improves the website we agree to support. A separate website, a full rebuild or a major new application is a new project. Standalone automation is scoped separately. We explain the difference before work begins.
Domain registration and renewals, paid software, transaction fees and exceptional infrastructure are separate costs, disclosed before you agree. If a new domain is needed and we arrange it, the agreed registration cost appears as a separate line on your initial website invoice. Future renewals remain separate.

A few useful answers.
Does unlimited really mean unlimited?
There is no monthly limit on requests or fixes within the care scope, and no hourly allowance to use up. We agree priorities and work through the requests. Timing depends on the work involved; unlimited requests does not mean every request is delivered at once. Routine improvements and ordinary new content pages are included. Separate websites, full rebuilds and major new applications are separate projects.
Is hosting free with my website?
Hosting is included with an active care plan only, including the first 90 days that come with a new website build. It is not included forever in the build fee. If you do not continue care, we arrange a handoff to hosting you pay for directly before the included period ends.
What about my domain name?
Your domain is separate from hosting. If you need a new one and we arrange the purchase, its agreed registration cost is itemized on your initial website invoice. Renewals are separate at the registrar's rate and schedule, disclosed before you agree. The domain is registered to your business, with account access retained by you. We can also connect a domain you already own.
How do billing and cancellation work?
Paid care begins only after you agree to monthly or yearly billing. We invoice in advance and the plan renews on that cycle until you cancel future renewal. Email hello@bootstrappedstudios.com before the next renewal. Care and hosting continue through the current paid period. Yearly billing purchases a full year; unused time is not prorated except where required by law or agreed in writing. We confirm the hosting end date and coordinate the handoff before care ends.
Can I host and maintain it myself?
Yes. You keep your paid custom deliverables under the project terms, and your domain remains registered to you. We provide the code and agreed data handoff and help coordinate the move. Your replacement hosting is paid directly by you. Third party licences and subscriptions keep their existing terms.
How quickly will you respond?
We aim to reply within one business day, Monday to Friday excluding Ontario public holidays. That is a reply target, not a promise that every request will be finished that day. Service incidents take priority. Monitoring can flag an overnight outage, but this plan does not promise overnight human response or a fixed restoration time.
Can you care for a site you did not build?
We review the site and its setup first to confirm that we can support it under this plan. Any initial repair or migration is agreed separately. The included first 90 days applies to new BSS website builds, not an existing site joining care.
